Question about the Wither...

I'm curious to know, what type of block is the Wither incapable of destroying? I plan to build a small structure perfect for Nether Star farming. (The block must be obtainable in Survival mode)

    I tested obsidian in creative but it destroyed the block anyway...

    Too my knowledge the Wither can destroy all blocks but bedrock what can only be found at the bottom of the world what I am sure you already know.

    There's no escape from the Wither. It is the most challenging enemy in the game. Unfortunately, you can't just use Cobblestone to shield yourself, like with Ghasts. That would've been nice.

    Make a branch mine (long line of digging in diamond layers skipping two blocks between each one). It can break through the the blocks, but it will do it very slowly. You can just sword attack the entire time. Antvenom did a video where he did this and managed to beat the Wither with no armor. Plus, if it's in diamond layers, you'll probably find a lot of goodies.

    Noice! And you're right, those explosions will help me find awesome stuff. I usally like to bring a couple of TNT blocks on mining trips because they can open up large areas quicker.

    I never thought of bringing TNT; might need to start doing that now. I do know that branch mines, while somewhat time consuming, are a great way to find diamonds; I have one on the PC version that scored me a couple blocks worth of them.
