(timeskip, Xeno and boy boy had defeated Malakai, they rescued Ghirahim, but their joy is short lived, Malakai had cast a spell on Ghirahim before he died) (Ghirahim fell into a never-ending sleep, no matter what the others do...the spell remains strong...and Ghirahim remains asleep...)

(Xeno remembers all the times he and Ghirahim had argued, he wishes he could take it back... Xeno wishes he had spent more time with Ghirahim...he didn't know that he was going to have such little time to do so...) (20 years go by, Ghirahim is still asleep...)

(He only stops to sleep, the others take him to a doctor, they say he has collic, a common thing in small infants where the baby cries for more than 5 hours a day, all is well until Ghirahim refuses to drink his bottle...)

(Octoliling is only able to get a few ounces of milk into Ghirahim, one day, she's changing him when she looks at him, he's staring off into nothing, it's like he's not there, like he's not even in his body) (Octoliling waves her hand in front of him, no reaction)

(Octoliling takes Ghirahim to the hospital, btw what was going on with Ghirahim earlier was an absence seizure) (due to build up of amino acids in the brain, he is also severely dehydrated, the doctors put some sugar water in his IV drip, he makes a quick recovery, but then when they start giving him his formula, he deteriorates once again, but no one knows what's wrong)
