    Never mind. Good grief, what are they thinking? It's a unique idea, sure, but a touch screen across the entire controller? How can they possibly say that having your thumb cut off part of the screen is "more immersive"? Heck, even the joysticks and buttons are gonna break up the visuals...

    Marleeeeee I love your drawings!!! @v@ @Hidalgo, the supposed patent us literally a giant oval... And it's all a touch screen even up to the edges, except for two joysticks where the thumbs go... But all buttons look to be a touch screen feature... @Ed, I knoooooow and I don't like it at all...

    really? honestly, at this point all i can do is laugh. if nintendo makes another flop the are done. and they have nobody to blame but themselves. oh well, i guess ill eventually have to transition to something else.

    Not all patents are used by companies. If anything, this is most likely gonna be an optional accessory. Or it could just be for a handheld.

    @Hidalgo, I really hope it's not the official controller. @Julio, the patent is very detailed and is on the waiting list for being approved. I'm hoping that it's changed or at least just an add on accessory, but everything I've heard about the NX is making me think it isn't... A bunch of ever vigilant and reliable sources claim that this will be a console/handheld hybrid, so this controller

    Probably an add on. From what I've seen, it looks like the NX is gonna have a home console unit, and a portable unit. Some rumors say that the handheld will be able to play console games on the go, but with lower quality graphics. And it may have somewhat cloud based gaming. We won't know for sure until they announce it. My best guess is that it'll be shown in E3 2016 and release Fall of 2017

    I strongly dislike touchscreen buttons. The lack of resistance on them is so terrible. They make games harder than they should be.
