    Are you playing in hi-def with hdmi cables? I'm not able to do multiplayer too since I'm running on component cables.

    how too local+online, just do general local play if your world is the multiplayer world or both pro controller and gamepad have too be active, select a friends world and a screen should pop up with the different controllers connected as player, if yoy do still get that screen, press + on the pro controller too add splitscreen player
