is it worth it because my friend minecraft broke on the pc would be worth it to buy it on wii u to play with my friend?

im dissapointed by nintendo releasing this game right before christmas. But they DID think about it. Most players would have yelled at nintendo if it was right after christmas. And they just realeased pokemon:mystery dungeon last month
