How do you play Minecraft with a friend or friends? Like, can I play on the gamepad and my friend(s) play using a Wii remote(s) on the same TV?

    I think you can only use the wii u pro controller and the gamepad. I tried using the classic controller but it didn't work...

    No. I was looking into getting a wii u pro controller though. But I can do split screen with a gamepad and pro controller? I ask because I read somewhere I can't. Is that a lie?

    I've played locally with my friend before. He used a gamepad and I used the pro controller and it was splitscreen. Sadly you both have to look at the TV instead of one person looking at the gamepad.
