Marcus is the ultimate bro in my eyes. He's served Elbert, Eliwood, and Roy, three generations of Pheraen leaders. I'd love a game where a young cavalier Marcus begins his road to glory alongside a young Elbert.

    There's actually a fan-made game called Immortal Sword that you might like. The main lord is Hector's older brother, Uther, and it takes place about 10 years before FE7. It has several units from FE7 and even a few from FE6 like Marcus, Isadora, Harken, Niime, and many more. There are also some units who weren't playable originally, like Lyn's parents, Elbert, and Brendan Reed.

    Hmm, even if technically non-canon, that will be a game to try out in the future. Nintendo really should pay attention to these fan games. Could you imagine how well such games would do at even full GBA (or the respective platform) price?

    I've also been thinking it would be nice if there were some FE games, even if they had to be spinoffs as far as gameplay, that covered the distant past backstories that at least most of the FE games have.

    Immortal Sword is also made by the same person who made Elibian Nights, which is a game that takes place between FE7 and FE6.

    Between FE7 and FE6? See that's good for closure, because I hate thinking 80% of the FE7 cast died when Bern started the war. ;_;

    With that casualty rate, it's definitely a good thing that Binding Blade was released before Blazing Sword. It would be nice if Nintendo would release the former on the eshop though. Using a youknowwhat only does so well.
