Is Minecraft worth getting?

Merry Xmas guys!!! Now I have a question, is Minecraft Wii U version worth buying? I wanted to know because I love Minecraft on the PC version, but it's too lagy. So please tell me, the good, and bad points on this game! Merry Xmas guys and a happy New Year!
