It isn't always your teammates fault that you lose a battle. Most times there is something YOU could've done differently in order to triumph. You win as a team; you lose as a team. Everyone has to be on the same page and do their part. Otherwise, it's an epic FAIL waiting to happen.

Except for those times where you have a team mate doing literally nothing, or a team mate who covered so little ground that one has to wonder if they were even trying, or if they were using a weapon they had literally never used before. Other than that though, yeah, there's usually something that you yourself could have done about it. It's not always your team...

...though another time it's pretty obvious that it was at least partially your team is when you're doing ranked battles and were the best person on your team, considering that who's considered the best person on the team is determined by how much the players in question have been winning and losing.
