    Unfortunately, Minecraft Wii U Edition will only be in the Nintendo ë Shop. It will not ever be available on the disc.

    You can play it with your friend, as far as I know, you can only do it if he has a different console to the Wii U and you are friends. You go in friends list, click on him, press play together, and you'll be in his world with him.
