    You can get gold bars mainly by going to dungeons and finding them on shining spots on the ground, or by opening boxes that you find in dungeons. The quickest way to get gold bars is by ranking up your expedition rank.

    I believe the excavation looplet will help you collect more gold bars, it increases your chance of getting rarer items. (It does cost 10 gold bars though)
