Yes but to use split screen you cannot have the game displaying on your gamepad. Annoying, I know.

@kevin the game is download-only for now. You will be able to buy it retail in 2016 sometime. and the world is a little smaller than the XBONE Version, but I bet they will update the game, so that it will be the same as the PS4/XBONE Version. Also with exklusive features like Inventory Management on the GamePad.
