For those who didn't know, you CAN connect with Hoopa once you find his special bottle, even if it didn't show "Connected" preview, instead, he'll just say "Connected" himself. The connection between you and Hoopa is automatic. The ONLY pokemon you can't connect nor find is Volcanion because he was NOT officially announced after the release of this game.
