About the World Size...

I want to buy this game, but I'm worried about the world size. Is it infinite like the PC version? Or it is limited like the Console version, and how much? I'm confused because some say it's infinite while others say it's not.

Well actually it's like the last gen versions Xbox 360, Ps3, And Psvita not Xbox one and Ps4 there worlds aren't infinite but they are 26x larger then last gen/ Wii U
