Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival

The new animal crossing amibo festival is super fun!!! I got it for Christmas. I have Digby and Isabelle figures, but the set also came with cards... the cards have characters on them and you're supposed to be able to play them, but I can't figure out how. If anyone has played this game, please tell me how to enter them. Thanks everyone! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :-)

    You must first play a few rounds of the board game mode, and then it will take you to the Plaza, and then you can enter them. :)
