I don't understand how people can say this game is difficult when it's throwing this kinda stuff at you in the final dungeons.

  • Replace Toughness with Barrage and you have a nearly unbeatable combination. I never found difficulty with this game...

  • I've always found that PMD saves all of its significant difficulty for optional postgame dungeons. That said, a) still much harder than Gates, and b) a lot more in line with the Roguelike idea that your survival is based on using the things you find while exploring than previous games

  • Yeah totally, Emeras are a good idea, but there are a lot of rather overpowered ones. Add Wands to the mix and the tons of Reviver Seeds and Elixirs you find everywhere and I feel like this game, postgame excluded, was noticeably easier than Rescue Team and Explorers, contrary to what everyone on SA seems to think.
