Poliwrath River boss

Anyone have any tips for the boss fight at Poliwrath River? I've stocked up on reviver seeds and emeras but I always lose. Btw my team is mudkip and tepig.

    Petrify orb then use alliance attacks to take them out one by one

    How many tiny reviver seeds do you recommend? Also alliance attacks make your strength lower over time. Is there a way to avoid that?
