Is anyone able to make out the blurry writing on the map of the city in Super Bell Subway? I would really like to make a map of the city with all the buildings named on paper, but I can't b/c of the blurry writing.

    No, it's not Mushroom City. It is actually the city that N64 Rainbow Road hovers over (GCN Rainbow Road hovers over Mushroom City). Some people on Reddit.com are calling it Toad City (the city that Toad's Turnpike takes place in). Toad Harbor is also located in this city.

    I have a theory: a long time ago when the Mushroom Kingdom was first founded, they built a small town with a castle in it (for the royal family). One day, this town was raided, so they built a fortress to keep watch. But then, they statred to expand, bringing pollution. The government did little to stop it. The sewers became so clogged that pipelines were built aboveground!

    Eventually, the government built another town with another castle and fortress to the west (the nation has more of a horizontal shape), but the same problem happened. And the Koppa military was able to fly right over the abandoned [not completely (a few people were stranded in their toad houses)] polluted towns with their air ships!

    The problem was the worst in the ceter of the nation; it was FLOODED with toxens, allowing trees geneticly mutate and adapt. They now spring up overnight. The present day Mushroom Kingdom is only a few hours east of the western border with the Bean Bean Kingdom, as seen in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. What if Toad town, the current capitol of thr MK (Mushroom Kingdom) is actually Toad City!?
