Question

What armor should I go for to defeat the non-DLC endgame stuff like the Gold Dragon deep in the Ancient Ruins?

I've been thinking about using Beserker armor, as it's a step up from Beast armor, and it fits any Life. I do have the DLC downloaded, but I have beat the main story, I'm just not LVL 50 yet.
