How is the game so far? Reminds me of Mario Party.

It's actually a lot better than I expected! While the board layout sort of reminds me of Mario Party, I find the gameplay to be very unique. It's fun to invest in turnips and interact with characters from the series such as Dr. Shrunk. I also enjoy playing during the different months, since most of the holidays have special activities. Definitely worth a play in my opinion!

Oh, and one thing I forgot to mention is that unlike Mario Party, you don't play the minigames during the main board game. They are a completely separate thing that you use amiibo cards to play!

Thanks Stacy! So that is what the cards are for. That can make it cheaper than buying the figures too. That is interesting how the minigames work. Any other minigames you like?

In this game, the only other minigame I like is called Balloon Island, in which you use amiibo cards to drop characters out of the air and try to pop as many balloons as possible and land on the island. All of the other minigames are cute, but not really worth a second play in my opinion.

I see, almost sounds like balloon fight in a way. It also sounds like some minigames from recent mario parties where they look fun but not so much the second time. Either way, it sounds like a animal crossing, just as board game.
