when i saw your splatfest post in the community i looked at your av & went "aww she looks like a ganguro!" then saw your profile comment & was like "AW YEAH!!" xD i've been into it for ages but i'm not up to date on the new stuff. i'm a 2004 Ka~tan era gal. I haven't gal'd up since my 20s though but it's in my heart and lives on through all the hibiscus flowers i'm obsessed with..xD

I guess I have something to try and look for next time. There's probably at least one small audio detail like that in most of the update maps. What I really wanna find though are more visual details. Like on Camp Triggerfish during Splatfests, the torches that are lit up near the rope ramp up to the gates on at least one side have synchronized flares in the shape of identical(ly spooky) squids.

The post about the Vulpix? And sweet! Pretty nice how that all chained together. I guess I should try and organize my profile comment a bit to make everything more concise for others sometime since it was helpful here. And ah. I'm guessing you just haven't had the time or means to do it as well since then? And can you tell me about those hibiscus flowers?

i kind of wish they'd let us have more free range on the maps so we can just roam and look at the details (squid sims ninty get on it! lol). one of my fav details is the stiching and sun reflection on the floppy squids in skatepark. <3_<3

yeah i haven't really had time or money to be manba.. i only got to do it a few times too. xD *sigh* and as for hibiscus flowers i collect pretty much anything with them. i used to have 5/6 hibiscus plants i babied for years but i lost them to disease and drought. ;__;

We probably aren't missing -too- much out of bounds, or at the least, we can probably see most everything through unintended means like this. And I guess I'll have to look for those on Skatepark next time. Ah, well hopefully that could change sometime for us. You lost them to drought on top of disease? How'd all that happen? And you currently don't have at the moment besides possibly some seeds?

Well at the time I was living in two towns(my house/my grandpa's) so I had 2 yards. I'd gone home for an extended stay and during that time we had a really hot, dry Texas summer. No one was there to water my plants for a few weeks. When I went back to bring them home they'd survived but were really rough. I brought them back only to slowly loose them 1 by 1 to ants and aphids. Now I have none. :'(

Ah, I see. Ants and aphids ate them? Were they outside, or did both keep getting into the house? And do you have any plans to get more at some point?

they were outside only. my house cats eat plants so i didn't want them to get sick. i know some hibiscus are poisonous for pets. i do intend to get some new hibiscus at some point hopefully soon! x3

Ah, what kind of plants do your cats normally eat, do you grow anything for them to eat specifically? And what kind of cats do you have actually? And do you have a plan for somewhere special to put them when you do, like a small enclosed garden/greenhouse inside the house the cats can't get into.

i'm just putting them in pots on the porch. i like portability with my plants. xD the outside cats don't bother them except trying to sleep in the pots sometimes. Mostly my Pyewacket tries to eat any plant in the house. um my cats are just strays i've adopted as abandoned kittens mostly albino points. Pye looks like a seal point siamese. Trixie & Pearl are Snowshoe points, Purridot is Calico...

she looks like a "lucky cat" xD, Winni is a black cat and Morgana is a grey and white stripie cat. I always say she has manba makeup on since she has white "eyeshadow and lipstick" fur on her face xD

Won't ants and aphids get to them again if they're just outside in pots though? And that's a lot of cats. Do you ever take any of them, or at least the house cats, to a veterinarian for check ups?

The ferals we've tried to catch and get fixed when we had the ability, my inside ones are mostly fixed with shots but we can't even afford doctor visits for ourselves so we can't afford the kitties. That's how i lost my beloved Osiris to leukemia and old dog Lucky to cancer. :( Its tough but at least they're loved while they're here. Our oldest one is 6! :)

the ants and aphids will attack in pots or in the ground. at least in the pots i can check all around em for signs of intruders or infection as well as bring them in doors during winter.<3

Oh, I see. So do you have any plants the cats can eat like cat grass? And on the pots again, did you ever look into a tabletop greenhouse? Those could be one way to keep the flowers in the house all the time without worrying about the cats eating them.

inside no but perhaps when i get my studio set up i'll put plants in there as it will have a door and be a no cat zone.(i'd love a bonsai hibiscus hehehe) otherwise i want to buy catgrass seeds and grow a patch for the kitties inside. </( ^_^)\>

Catgrass is pretty cheap (at least at my local store, not sure about your area), so you could probably get it right now for your cats and deal with it later, unless setting up your studio is the reason you can't do that. I don't think a door by itself will stop cats though, will you have anything else. And what will your studio be for?

Yeah doors really don't stop some of my cats. o.o Especially Morgana she's so skinny she actually fits under the door to my future studio. I've opened the door to find her hiding in there a billion times. It's wild. As for catgrass I'd like to get them a low flat box to put it in so they can all come up and nibble. The studio is going to be for art and sewing.

You might be able to get door insulators that'll close the gap at the bottom of the door enough so that she can't squeeze her-self through. Do they normally eat together frequently enough that you'd need a box big enough for all of them? And ah, sewing sounds pretty nice, what're you mostly planning on making? And what kind of art, physical painting and sculpting?
