    Use your items wisely. Especially wands and orbs. If you come across a tough enemy, use a Stayaway Wand or a Warp Wand. Use Petrify Orbs or Slumber Orbs against groups of enemies (more specifically, bosses and mini-bosses). Even though you recover health naturally really fast by walking, eat an Oran Berry when you're low on health. It gives you a temporary health boost that could help you survive.

    (Cont.) Always bring Elixirs and Reviver Seeds. These items will be very helpful while exploring dungeons. Later, you'll be introduced to tactics and alliance attacks. Try out different tactics for different situations. Alliance attacks are useful for dishing out large amounts of damage and positioning your allies around the enemy.

    (Cont.) If you're skilled (or should I say lucky) enough, you don't need to do any grinding. But that is never a bad thing. You may lose a few dungeons. But I sincerely recommend you save before entering a dungeon or bring a Progress Device so you can return to your last save when you get a game over. If I'm over whelming you or making this sound complicated, I apologize.

    Thanks,that was realy helpful,and im not trying to sound ungrateful,but specifically Im looking for advice on what types of tactics i should select under tactics meeting(follow me,go the other way,etc.)Im a riolu with a froakie partner if that helps

    Mostly depends on the situation. I think you'll do fine with everyone set to Let's Go Together. But I tend to make use of "Get Away From Here" if the enemy is about to use a powerful attack or "Follow Me"/"Don't Use Moves" so they would stick to me when I need them to. But like I said, it's mostly based on the situation.
