I couldn't do it. I couldn't resist the urge. I told myself over and over, "Save your coins! Focus on the Main stages! Don't be an idiot!". But my competitive spirit wouldn't leave me alone, and after changing my mind about a million times, I decided make another run anyway. Then this happened.

Thanks everyone! Krampus: I wish it was a record of some sort, but I'm pretty sure it's not; if I remember correctly, someone had a 150K+ score in one of the early Mega Stone competitions. HOME buffering was still around back then though, so... Barry: I'm still not really that good at this game yet. Sure, I have good results in timed competitions, but in move-based ones I have underwhelming-

runs. Actually, move-based stages in general tend to be more challenging for me nowadays; I have to work on that a bit more before I can truly be called an elite player.

Josh: Final combo is in my first comment on this post. Who's in first place? All I see is someone who would rather use illegitimate methods to temporarily get on the leaderboard rather than play the game in an honest way.

Oh my god, this is absolutely unbelievable! It's discouraging to me that you say a run at 110k is a dud run haha, since I have a hard time even reaching half that! Congratulations and Jubilations!

Thanks Stuart and barb1! Well, it was a dud run based on what I trying to accomplish, LOL. "110K isn't good enough" is something you can only say when Relva's around.

There we go. Submaster in 1st. Relva in 2nd, (did he up him score?) Zonextreme in 3rd.

Finally! Yeah, Relva improved his score by about 3K. Interesting how he switched to Gengar, I thought he would have stuck with Lopunny's damage since Gengar's combo potential gets significantly decreased with more than 4 Pokémon on the board -- at least, from my experience it does.

Wait...that IS from a full item run, right...? Anyway, I missed the Arceus event, so I won't be using the Normal group, but here's mine after a few tries itemless w/ Amphros. I tried Gengar only once, but I may end up using him in the end. I think that's Speedup worthy if all goes well, hopefully ._.

Relva only used Attack Power ↑ in his run, no C-1 or DD. Sounds insane, yes, but not entirely impossible since the 5th support is SE (and level MAX in his case) and you only get one random block and occasionally a whole column of ice for Disruptions. Good luck with your run! I hope you get and stay in Speedup range.

Damn, he scooped me! I've been having some great coin farming days though, so I feel more comfortable with making another run should I choose to do so. I probably will, too; almost feel like doing one now but I'm bone-tired so I'd better not. Saturday morning seems like a good time, Weekend Meowth will hopefully cover most of the cost.

Wow it's Dueling Banjos Shuffle Style. Even Zonextreme has been left behind. Unreal!

Well, give Relva some time to be in first, then go up in first? Okay that sounds stupid, but I think Relva got in first place because of snorlax.

So I had an idea. What if I triggered Amphros with a dragon team (since I don't have Arceus)? Whats the pros and cons of that?

Don't use Dancing Dragons at all. It's only a 1.2 boost on neutral-effective attacks, far weaker than just a regular SE team. I don't even know why Ampharos has Dancing Dragons in the first place, as he doesn't even benefit from it. If you're trying to use an ability based team, then a Sky Blast is your best bet. It would be slightly stronger than an SE team if you have Lugia and Salamence.

Ampharos' Japanese name is a pun based on some dragon, if I remember correctly, which is also why it gains dragon type when Mega evolving in the main series.
