    This is my opinion, I have watched the first season. It was good. But I just stopped. I don't personally think it is good beyond that point. I believe Steven Universe is a better show in terms of backstory, design, etc. I don't think Gravity Falls is bad... I just don't enjoy it.

    I'd Return For The Second Season. It Has Some Layed-Back Episodes, But It Shows A Ton Of Mystery And Backstory. Also, Since You Might Not Care If I Spoil Who The Author Is, I'll Post It Next.

    I know that whole thing with the portal, and Stanford, and everything else. I don't find that interesting as much as you have. It is my opinion that it should have ended on season one.
