    Yup. It can happen. You can even unlock it by completing the four NWC levels, Just keep playing 10 Mario Challenge until it notifies you you've unlocked them. Complete your unlocked levels, Go to Create A Course with the Super Mario Bros. theme, and shake the Super Mushroom...
