    Genuinely hyped for Corrin myself. I personally don't dwell on the subject of how much representation a franchise gets in Smash. So the fact that Fire Emblem is now tied with Pokémon for 2nd most represented franchise in Smash doesn't bother me at all.

    Not in the least salty like most fans here. I actually like a character with a unique moveset significantly made for that character as opposed to most FE characters who consist of clones or psuedo clones. Corrin looks interesting to use, and that sword stretch tho.

    He/she is a unique fighter. That's what I like most about him/her. I couldn't really care less if it was Corrin or some other character (even tho I love FE and I'm happy that he's in the game) as long as the character is unique in their moveset, I'm fine with it. Unless it's some stupid character like Goku.

    Personally, I am genuinely excited for Corrin to be in Smash. Fire Emblem:Fates looks amqzing based on what I seen of it so far.

    I don't mind 6 Fire Emblem characters. Overrepresented? Yes, but I'm sure half of these characters will be removed in the next game. What I'm questioning is why the Zelda series was completely ignored in terms of newcomers.

    For me, it's not so much that FE got a new character but that so many other franchises were ignored this game. StarFox, DK, Metroid, Zelda, etc didn't get any newcomers; StarFox actually LOST a rep. FE already got a DLC character (Roy) so it just seems like pure bias on Sakurai's Dev Team's part to have this many characters for it.

    Yes Corrin has a unique moveset, but you could say that about practically any Nintendo character. I don't hate Corrin as a character, I just feel his inclusion should've waited until the next game and instead we got a new rep for a more popular/successful franchise (DK, Zelda, StarFox, Metroid, etc).
