So, i plan on writing a short story (set in current day Trieste, Italy) about a psycopathic Fairy. Should i go with the Victorian depiction (miniscule humanlike creature with magic and wings), The old french depiction (where it's a catch all term for any creature that is enchanted), the pagan depiction (demoted dieties) or the Celtic depiction (Like elves exept magical)
