    I was training M-Swampert with a a couple of mid-level + 1 maxed water types against Infernape, but I kept ending up a couple of moves short. I got impatient (and of course refused to use any items), so I went ahead w/ a maxed team led by M-Garchomp. I defeated it itemless w/ several moves left first try. Congrats on defeating it itemless w/ M-Swampert!

    Thank you! I would have tried M-Garchomp next, but as you may have seen in my next post, I got a Great Ball with SCP and couldn't resist the catch. I had some really good momentum with M-Swampert in the first half of the fight, but Infernape's random disruptions every turn in the latter half just drove me nuts. I'm glad I got as lucky as I did, because I definitely won't recreate that win.
