If your refering to vitamins being good for you therefore meaning teachers are benefitial, then its not a very good analogy. Scientists have proven vitamins such as C to have no real benefit.

A better way to put it is by using a word such as Water. All living things require water to survive as much as humans need teachers to provide knowledge.
