    it's Metroids 30th anniversary this year, I hope Nintendo does something for the series. I'd love a new theme for my DS

    I'll get FF as well, though I hope there's a proper Metroid game in the works. I have the NES theme right now, it's cool because it plays the theme when Samus spawns when you open your DS. I never really though about her age, but now that I do 30 sounds about right considering her appearance and experience.

    Metroid is my favorite franchise. I love how the games treat me like I'm smart enough to figure things out on my own. they're challenging but never go into impossibly difficult territory. I especially love the emphasis on atmosphere, there always so much detail. The story doesn't dictate the player but rather encourages exploration. Rarely does a game grab me like Metroid does. I'm team Supe's btw

    Thats what I'm hoping for! Though I'm not what they would do at this point. they've pretty much rereleased every Metroid game on VC with the exception of Other M and Hunters. I guess there's still pinball as well, but who counts that when discussing games in the main series?
