My save data was deleted because of the misbehavior of my USB. Is there any way other than replaying the from the start...? Can't the save data be shared??? I gonna to be crazy... Or how to copy my save data to my console???

Do you see now Nintendo? This is the kind of stuff that happens when you dont give people the option to purchase a game physically. It creates all kinds of potential problems. This is what you do to your customers when you go the cheap route. Remember this treatment when the NX gets released folks.

actually you can't backup your save files from your game disc either

Yes, but if you didn't have to download the game you would have the space in your built in hard drive and could save to that. A bad save file is less likely happen this way.

sorry to say this but USB really is the worst option for save data and downloadable games also p.s don't listen to justin and his ramblings of a no physical copy of this game

And my "ramblings" shall continue. This is the price you pay when you dismiss a portion of your clientele especially after being told you would never be forced to buy a hard drive. Only to be told later you have to have one. I don't like being lied to.

There's not a single game on the Eshop that can't easily fit on the 32Gb Wii U. No one is being forced to buy a hard drive. It's simply a convenience so you don't have to delete data to download more games. Only a toddler or a computer-illiterate geriatric could possibly be so confused by the idea that storage space is not, in fact, infinite.

Kevin No one is being forced to buy a hard drive.....really.... There is a Wii U with only 8gigs of hard drive space. I have one. I bought it because I don't buy games digitally so I had no need for more than that. Nintendo offered that option because they didn't want people to have to pay for something they wouldn't use since they said that all of their games would release as physical AND digital

options. I don't buy digital and I don't like paying more for something I won't use, so I bought the 8 gig model. It suited my needs up until Fatal Frame. It's not my fault that Nintendo back peddled on their word. They sold me an 8gig unit with the understanding that I would never need more to play their games. So yes, I LITERALLY need a hard drive to play Fatal Frame.

That is unless you know of a full version of Fatal Frame that will fit on 8 gig WiiU....and NO I'm not buying a hard drive for they above mentioned reasons.

kevin no should be forced to buy an external hard drive at all. this is why nintendo should give this game a physical release, this game and an external hard drive is just to much money down the drain, nintendo even said they wouldn't make us buy one but now they turn back on that and make us buy one for this instead of defending it why not join us in our campaign to get an official retail release

people like you and that girl norie need to understand the importance of expanding consumer options how? buy giving consumers the choice of buying the game physically or digitally and physically could be better because it won't take up to much memory space and better yet they won't have to blow so much money on an external hard drive but no nintendo chose to take away the option with eshop only.

remember what microsoft tried to do with the xbox one? they wanted it to be about digital distribution, and even though it had physical games, they wanted to take away the value and ownership of those games, meaning you couldn't have true ownership of those games, and it wasn't fair to those who didn't have the internet because it originally required an internet connection, they took away rights
Yeahs1Played -
01/13/2016 8:04 PM ·Spoilers
well they tried to, but point being you can't take away consumer rights, when gamers or people want to buy a product they want to own the product, and digital games don't offer any value outside of completing it, it can't sell it, trade it, give away or do what you want with it. mean while physical media holds more value than digital it grants true ownership and the ability to play/keep it forever

But why make this the main platform for discussion when people who bothered to dl are trying to talk about it. 90% Of threads are about this or `censorship` . we get it but you're punishing people who want to talk about the game. not nintendo.

were not punishing no one, its nintendo were giving criticism for, they could've given people the option of buying this game physically, but they chose to take that option away, and were showing nintendo the trouble people are having downloading this game, they wouldn't be having this problem if nintendo would have just given us a physical copy. #GiveUsTheDisc #WeWantFatalFrame #OperationZero

ambrusco The answer to your question is because Nintendo monitors Miiverse. Users are simply voicing their discontent over NOA's treatment of this game. Trust me Nintendo is hearing this on twitter, Facebook and through phone calls and emails. This is just another outlet to give them criticism. Unfortunately people who just want to discuss the game get caught up in it inadvertently. However maybe

next time NOA wants to pull something this stupid they will think about the consequences of their actions and how they may negatively affect not just them, but their other customers as well. After all it was NOA who brought this on themselves. If enough people contact them and ask for a physical release and NOA actually does it, then these discussions will stop. Until then they probably won't.
