Why do people use Draco Meteor on Pokémon other than Kingdra? Its Special Attack-lowering effect makes the high damage output not worth it, and out of everything that gets Draco Meteor Kingdra is the only worthwhile Focus Energy user.

    Because it's a base 130 power dragon type move, with STAB it does lodes of damage. Most things that use it are glass cannons that'll switch out right after, negating the stat drop. Also it sounds cool.

    If a pokemon's move is basically made to one shot, let's say victini's v-crate with white herb that move can be used twice with that power.

    @Smash-pai I can sort of see where you're coming from there, but V-create is a bad example: it doesn't lower any offensive stats, it just lowers Defense, Special Defense, and Speed
