    You say that now, but it's actually one of the best training stages for your Pokémon because the number of Moves you start with = the amount of EXP you get if you defeat the Pokémon (Moves +5 doesn't add to this; only Exp. Points x1.5 does). If you can't be bothered waiting only on Victini, Ampharos is your best alternative.

    I beat him after I posted this but I didn't gain any levels. Victiny gave me 3-2 levels.

    Victini gives 400. Ampharos gives 50. It will definitely be slower, but at least it's not only once a week. :P
