    i'm not saying that mario is a bad character and i'm not saying sonic is a gaming god either. i just prefer sonic over mario... any day... no questions asked.

    sure sonic had some bad games, but i guess i wouldn't be too far off saying that mario's had some bad ones too. i've had more experience with sonic than mario, and it's safe to say that i've played some of the 'bad' games in the sonic franchise. the storylines are (for the most part) good ideas. sonic in the world of king arthur or the 1001 arabian nights? i was blown away by the concepts.

    but sadly, sonic team was pushed too hard in the final stages of games like that. it's a new year for both franchises and i can only hope that sega lets the sonic team have a reasonable deadline, and something awesome up their sleeve ;)
