Regi's Inquiry V.1 ~ Arceus Arceus. The god of all Pokémon. Probably the best pokemon for timed stages. It's power is real, and it's ability makes it waaaay better. Don't let this normal beast fool ya. Let's learn some more about him, shall we?

  • First off, let's talk power. Look at that ~ 110 power at MAX level, 90 BP! Most pokemon have 90 as their highest power, this guy has a powerful punch. Tied for the most powerful (Power-wise) along with it's buddy Regigigas, this is one pokemon you do not want to overlook.

  • Yeah nice power, but look at its type. NORMAL. N-O-R-M-A-L. NORLMAL. It isn't super effective on ANYTHING. Well, that's where its ability kicks in. One of the best in the game, Double Normal multiplies the damage done by normal types by 2.5 That's right, 2.5. Making it even better than a normal SE pokemon (Unless it's boosted with Pyre, Pixie Pwr, or Sky Blast).

  • This ability makes everything amazing. Arceus's already immensely high power is even more powerful (Do the math, and it'll be 275 power). That's... AMAZING. And it boosts the power of other Normal types too, including it's buddy Regigigas.

  • Activation Rates are 20/60/80. Decent, it'd be better if the 5 match was guaranteed, but it's doable. Keep in mind ~ Arceus is not good on Rock/Steel/Ghost types b/c it is not very effective against this types. Best to use SE mom's on those. Arceus is usable on all other types! :D Wow Mr.Regi! Arceus and Double Normal are great! I'll just use it on every stage, excluding the types Arceus

  • Whoa there, slow down! Arceus is only good on timed stages because you have to maintain a combo in order for double normal to be as great as it is (which is kinda hard on turn based stages, don't ya think?) So that's all there is really. I know it wasn't really as good, but since there was Arceus this week, I felt it would be logical to make an inquiry on him. Any questions/comments?

  • Any tips for comboing? I got him the first time around, but he hardly ever gets used, since I can't hold a combo long enough for him to be useful. Tend to have better luck with normal SE teams because of that.

  • @Tsune, use Mega Gengar and practice on Dragonite's EX stage (that helped me with getting combos when I first started). Another tip is to let Gengar match himself, unless you have no other option. This creates more bonus combos and gives you a much higher score

  • Latios was the best to practice timed skills...but i guess he decided to ditch us and go who knows where...btw...playing through a special stage over and over again really helps...Also a question: im gonna use a lot of coins to go for arceus and ill make shure i have enough for a great ball...but if i fail both great and pokeball is it possible to use another great ball if i have enough coins...
