was this the first time U could play as a transgender character? i feel like there may have been a couple others in gaming. i guess Birdo finally decided 'Birdetta' didn't sound as cool as 'Birdo.' Like she's all "Birdo transcends gender." I bet Birdo speaks in 3rd-person.
