It's kind of nice that the Gen IV starters' final evolutions will be released in events, meaning only the particularly useful ones will be easy to catch. Too bad Infernape's stats are forgettable, especially with Blaziken, who has been out longer, holding the same niche. Or... does Hitting Streak technically make this a good thing?

    Technically, you CAN stack them together for the effect, given how quickly Blaziken can mega evolve. Personally I'm waiting more for the other two GenV starter sets to get added. That evolving challenge became just a tease after they followed Emboar up with everything else.

    Pyre or Burn are both more effective than Hitting Streak for a full fire Mega Blaziken team, as they both boost all Fire damage in the Combo, not just the first hit, like Hitting Streak.

    Yeah, Pyre definitely trumps Hitting Streak, especially considering how easy it is to deactivate a Hitting Streak combo. Burn actually works out sometimes, IMO, but I do agree that it's rarely useful or effective. Kero, I could not agree more on the Gen V starters, when am I getting my Serperior :<
