    Yes, because you have left nowhere for the player to land in case there is an enemy which only comes out when the player approaches...so it's a cheap death and bad design on your part I'm afraid. A simple donut block in the right place could solve that.

    Well, you and I can land on the side of a pipe maybe but not everyone can or has yet and there's not a lot of margin for error for newer players. It's all according to who you want to get through your level because, as you may know, newer players are normally the first to be presented with your levels.
