    Why have an iPad Mini and a full-sized iPad when you can have two iPad Minis? Go double Mini or go double home.

    No. The Mini is too small, it defeats the purpose of a media device, if I want something mobile I'll use an iPhone. Same with the Pro, if I want something productive I'll use a Macbook. The standard size is the perfect sweet spot.

    It's not as usable. You go from a 9.7 inch screen to a 7.9 inch screen on the diagonal, you lose a great deal of screen. Videos are smaller, games are smaller, and typing is really hard. Besides that, the standard iPad has way more power, currently the iPad Air 2 has an A8X Cyclone tri core clocked at 1.5 ghz, and an 8 core GPU. The Mini 4 only has An A8 with 2 cores, you lose an entire core, and

    two cores of multithreading. Besides that, the Mini GPU has half the performance of the Air, with only four cores. That's a huge sacrifice in power and usability for portability, and I don't think it's worth it.

    However, while the monster A9X powering the iPad Pro is definitely better than the Air 2, (although Apple may change that tomorrow), and it has double te RAM from 2 gigs to 4, the iPad Air is much more usable, and if you want portable power it only makes sense to get a laptop, not an iPad that's nearly 13 inches long diagonally.

    Pro is the way to go. I mean, who doesn't want to get a part time job solely so they can see videos on a screen that's the size of a computer's? ... Nah. I'm going to side with Mini as well. If you want productivity, why in the world are you using an iPad? If you ask me, I would prefer to have the Mini AND stay home, Ed. Introversion is fun. So is WiFi.

    @Blake I agree with you about productivity, that's what Macs are for. Past that, why would you use a smaller screen if you're at home? Might as well go up to the original size... @Ed I'll sumerize. The Pro is too big, the Mini is too small, and the standard is perfect. There's a reason Jobs used that size for the original.

    Yeah, as bog as many laptops. It's way to big for anything but desk use. Which is where most computers are used at. Really it's completely unnecessary.

    IMO, iPods are too small and iPads are too big. Err, at least that's what I thought back when they first came out. iPhone 6 is decent sized, although it's not an iPod. It's a matter of opinion, sure, but I don't need a bigger screen. But good gosh is correct. Those things are both absolutely pointless and really cool.

    The old 4 inch iPods were tiny, even when the vertical was raised an inch they were still small. I think the 6 is a solid size, the Plus is a tad too big for pockets, though. I hate giving up the 1080p resolution on the Plus, though... The thing is, when I look at iPads I don't look for portability beyond just carrying them acriss a room or something.     flip phones. I have limits, but for the record I've used iPad Minis a lot along with a full sized, and it's an easy decision. I will agree they're cool. 4 speakers? More power than in Apple's equally pointless new Macbook? Impressive.
