my mom thinks I'm a son who is helpless and can't make friends just because of my A D H D. she used to force me to go to "socializing groups" in hopes I could "learn how to make friends". I fought for my independence and she eventually stopped. I honestly never had problems befriending people in the fist place. "WHAT DO I LOOK LIKE TO YOU! I'M A HUMAN, NOT A CHARITY CASE! I CAN HANDLE MYSELF!"
