Wait... you LOSE all of your pink coins if you die and go back to a checkpoint? Whose bright idea was that?! That means that checkpoints are completely useless in any level that has you searching for pink coins to get through a locked door to finish the level. That... that is a lot of derp right there.

    You have to have a checkpoint right after you collect however many coins you decide need to be found. After that you can use p-switch keys in blocks or enemies...you can carry more than one at a time too.
