Is there a way to reset broken blocks? I'd like this obstacle to be passable in any given playthrough.

  • Not really...although I'm not sure exactly what you would achieve without specifics. Generally, placed enemies and tools will reset but ones from blocks won't, nor broken blocks themselves. So, going by your pic, if you breakthrough the blocks, the munchers drop behind you and you continue on. If there was a reset door or pipe, the munchers would drop whenever you approached due to lack of blocks

  • The problem was that if you broke all 3 blocks, the munchers would knock you behind them and I wanted to allow the player to try again if it happened. I've decided to scrap this level, though.

  • I thought maybe you could have a track with munchers on running vertically behind the blocks and the player would then need to wait for a preset gap to appear in order to jump and break through, bypassing everything. Then even if the blocks were destroyed they would still have to wait and time their jump through but at least it would be possible without a total restart.
