I think all MLP fans should stop calling this pony "Colgate". There is absolutely no reason to call this pony by the toothpaste brand. The creator of this character did not agree to take a brand name and give it to a pony for no reason. Plus you don't hear other characters within the show calling her Colgate either. So I suggest you fans call her by her real name "Minuette" from now on.

    i know right when i was new to the fandom i did call her colgate but since hasbro told us her actuall name is all okay if people stoped calling her that

    Agreed, it was just one of those silly names the fans came up with cuz they didn't know her real name in the beginning. Apparently the nickname sprang from her hair colors resembling the toothpaste.
