Damage & Health Bar

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows how to add a health bar or how to take damage and make enemies that take damage and if you touch them your health gets lower. If anybody knows please let me know or please send me a picture programming for it. Thanks! :]

    Have two variables to store the health ints. Then, write an IF statement to check if the player's attack hits the enemy. If so, change the enemy's health to it minus itself. The GUI can be a FOR statement that prints out many '■'s at a certain location.
