This or Harvest Moon Snes?

Hi everyone, I'm writing here today because I've been wanting to get into the Harvest Moon series but don't know where to start. I've looked at reviews for both this game and the 1st game and they say they're both good, but I want to know from you guys which game is more worth it. Give me thoughts and I'll get back to you when I've decided. Thanks!

    This is definitely the better experience because of the characters, crops, tool system, and backpack. SNES is more of an... expert Harvest Moon experience. When you "beat" this, I suggest you pick up A New Beginning or Story of Seasons, if possible.
