    It will be an animated show, but it will pay homage and parody tropes from almost evey kind of creative medium, from books, to movies and tv, and to anime as well.

    As an example: One of the main characters is a boy from Iowa who spends his middle school days in Japan, where his aunt lives. And he unwillingly ends up getting involved in the new, most popular tournament game sweeping across Japan called: Battle Daemon Boomerang, a.k.a. BaDaBoom!
