Somebody once noted the fact that everytime a new game in a series is announced or released people go "oh this new one sucks but that last one was awesome!", then another new game comes out and suddenly the sucky one was the best game ever! In fact, I can't think of an example where this ISN'T the case! People are even praising STICKER STAR (which I like) now!

    The trend I notice is hype, and then everyone complaing about it once it comes out. It happened to Splatoon. Then after a month of complaining people are like, you know, this game is more fun than others let on... despite being on both the hype and hate trains. Happens everytime, fam.
