Rain was sitting by the window of her bedroom drinking hot chocolate while she watched the snow fall from instinct she put the piece of hair that was in front of her face behind her ear.But when she did this she felt the rough torn up skin on her face that been ripped of by a bear that had attacked her. That had happened a few months ago she put her hot chocolate down and sighed

    The house was so quiet when her son Collen was asleep who was suffering from the flu. Rain worried about him because he was only 3 years old and ever since the bear attacked her had been scared of her. She knew that was most children's reactions when they saw her now but she didn't mind he was starting to grow out of it now. She took another sip of hot chocolate and heard Collen saying mommy

    Rain quickly headed to his room and opened the door and first question Collen asked was " mommy when is daddy coming home" Rain smiled Collen had been calling her best friend Faron daddy ever since he could talk. Faron was pretending to be Collen's dad because Collen's real father was unknown. She and Faron hadn't kissed yet though so Collen would also ask questions like " daddy do you love mommy"

    and " daddy how come you never give mommy kisses" those questions would make Faron blush bright pink until he came up with answer. Rain thought it was cute when Collen asked those questions. "daddy will be here soon darling" Rain told her son.
