I'm enjoying Arin play Ocarina of Time but watching him play...his critical Sequelitis video makes so much more sense. He doesn't know about basic shortcuts, so there's a lot more walking around. And he doesn't know how to properly destroy enemies, so that makes you wait more too. Don't get me wrong, the joy of a videogame is that there's multiple ways to play it. This is just an observation.

    I'm sure this Arin person is a good fella, but I'm sure it's not nearly as riveting as checking into my play journal periodically to see where I'm at in the game ;)

    I haven't been paying much attention to his gameplay (I just have it on while playing my own games, listening to their commentary), but haven't they stated prior series that their concentration is divided between actually doing a show and playing? I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt there. I'm actually surprised he ran through the Castle Courtyard in one go.

    I actually thought his video made some good points and commentary (even if it was a tad on the nitpicky side), despite how much I loved the game back in the day. I'm still waiting to see if they'll ever do Skyward Sword on the show. I can only imagine what a trainwreck that'll be to watch!

    they actually did a live stream of skyward sword and hyrule warriors. But they haven't done an actual game grumps series and I would love it the whole time. I also love how Arin is playing the game but he is kinda switching to "I love this game" to "This game gets on my nerves".

    Your welcome. I just watched a video of them in a Mag fest Q and A and Arin said that they will do Skyward Sword after they finish OoT and Majora's Mask.

    As long as I get in the mindset that Arin and Danny are doing these for fun and I enjoy their commentary then I'm fine. However, if I think to myself, "Gosh. He's going from Goron Village to the Sacred Meadow the long way and back again!" Or "You know Arin- If you actually use your Hylian shield against the lizard enemy in episode 13, you won't die as much!" I'm doomed ;)

    Exactly! Like I said here at the start...In his Zelda sequelitis video he states something like "the enemies are not hard, but they force you to wait and that gives you the illusion of difficulty." Well, he certainly seemed to have a hard time against enemies today. Maybe it's because of his ADD, but being a little more patient will go a long way. I'm eagerly awaiting Arin's Water Temple rage.

    OH MY GOD!!! I can't wait to see Arin do the Water Temple. That will be my most favorite episode of Game Grumps. I also can't wait to see if they will do Twilight Princess.

    Arin is really smart but he can really be dense most of the time. In the beginning of episode 14 he forgot that he got the bomb bag even though he did another episode like two minutes after he got the bomb bag. He is over complicating things.

    Well, I don't think we'll reach "Battle Kid" or "Froggy from Sonic Adventure" levels of crazy, but good golly! Arin forgot he had bombs at the beginning of today's episode. Granted, he said he was distracted and Danny was forgetting stuff too...But holy cow that was annoying :)
