are amiibos worth the money?

i bought a link amiibo a while back and soon figured out i couldnt play as it i was mad and all that and then i got even madder when it could only reach lv50 whats the point in amiibos?

    I find amiibos to be cute replicas of nintendo characters, and other games use ammibos amazingly like mario maker. plus, they're only around $13!

    Well, amiibos are (usually) compatible with more than one game, such as the LoZ series amiibo are compatible with Tp and SMM and SSB4. Some people just like to collect them, others like to train them, and some customise them to sell online for money! They're not essential, but some unlock parts of games :)

    To be honest, everything that the amiibo is supposed to be able to do can be done more efficiently without an amiibo. It's just a gimmick that was designed to sell an unlock code & a figurine at a premium price. My amiibos are the same as my other videogame figurines, I simply buy the characters or series of characters I like and place them around my entertainment center.
